Irilens 0.4% eye drops is a sterile ophthalmic solution with a moisturizing and lubricating effect, containing hyaluronic acid sodium salt at 0.4% of high molecular weight biotechnological origin. Sterile single-dose containers, 15 pieces.

How to use
With clean hands, open the protective bag, detach a single dose and open it by turning and extracting the cap. Instill 1/2 drops in each eye by lightly pressing the single-dose. After first opening, the container can be closed with the special cap and the solution left in the single-dose can be reused within 12 hours. Contact lens wearers can apply 1-2 drops of the solution to each lens before insertion, to keep the eye moist and lubricated. If necessary, repeat the operation 2-4 times a day. The product is for single patient use.
Components
Hyaluronic acid sodium salt 0.4%, monobasic sodium phosphate monohydrate, dibasic sodium phosphate dodecahydrate, sodium chloride, water for injections.
storage
Keep unused single doses in the protective envelope. Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Do not use the product after the expiry date indicated on the package. Do not dispose of the container in the environment after use.
Warnings
The product is for external ophthalmic use only. Do not use the product if the container is damaged or not perfectly closed when it is first opened. Leave at least 15 minutes after use before instilling drugs for external ophthalmic use. During application, do not touch the eye or any other surface with the dispensing tip of the container. Do not use in case of known incompatibility with any component of the preparation. Keep the preparation out of the reach of children. In case of discomfort during use, discontinue treatment and consult a doctor. In some cases, after administration, a brief blurring of vision has been observed due to the density of the solution, which however disappears very quickly.
Format
15 sterile single doses of 0.5 ml resealable.
Hyaluronic acid sodium salt is a mucopolysaccharide which, in case of alterations of the tear film, restores its balance. Its 0.4% concentration allows for greater hydration with a prolonged action over time. It is therefore indicated in all cases in which disorders caused by dry eyes occur. Irilens 0.4% eye drops also contain sodium hydroxymethylglycinate (NIG) as a system preservative. Contains no benzalkonium chloride. It can also be used by contact lens wearers.
Irilens 0.4% eye drops is a lubricating and moisturizing ophthalmic solution indicated in all cases where there are problems caused by dry eyes. The most common causes of dry eyes can be: • Use of contact lenses • Environmental reasons: sun, wind, cold, smoky rooms, rooms with dry air produced by heating or air conditioning systems • Use of personal computers • Advanced age • Pharmacological therapies: antidepressants, anxiolytics, hormones and antihistamines • Eye surgery
