Main components: angelic acid and tiglic acid esters, pinene, farnesol, neroli dolo, chamazulene, pinocarvone, cineol and others.

Uses

In aromatherapy: calming and relaxing, chamomile essential oil has the ability to relieve nervous tension, melancholy, anxiety and stress. Vaporized in the bedroom, it promotes sleep and helps fight insomnia. The anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties make it suitable for local massages in case of abdominal tension, menstrual pain, muscle contractures, alone or mixed with other essential oils such as lavender, peppermint, eucalyptus, rosemary, clary sage. Excellent for relaxing and anti-stress baths and in case of headaches (1 drop on the temples).

Recommended dosages

massages: 2-3% solutions in a carrier oil (40-60 drops in 100ml or 5-6 drops in a spoon) for most areas of the body; 1% solutions in a carrier oil or base cream (20 drops in 100ml or 2 drops in a spoon) for delicate skin or areas of the body;

aromatic baths: 15 drops in 3 tablespoons of honey, whole sea salt or neutral liquid soap;

in the environment: 10 drops in an aroma lamp and vaporizer.

In cosmetics: its antiseptic, healing, anti-inflammatory, antipruritic properties are exploited.

Applications: products for the care of sensitive and fragile skin, dermatitis, eczema, acne, skin allergies, redness; after-sun products; hair lightening creams and solutions.

Recommended dosages: up to 10-15 drops per 100g of product; add at temperatures below 40°C.
