Lightening dyeing herb for natural hair that is not dyed or mixed, ideal for discharging other herbs.
Gives golden reflections on blonde and white hair.
In Ayurvedic medicine it is used as an antibacterial and antifungal, for dandruff, dermatitis, eczema.
Cassia belongs to the Fabaceae family and includes small trees and shrubs with showy yellow blooms. A very fine light green powder is obtained from the flower. The quality of this product is the result of careful selection, love and passion. The powder is very fine, light green. The resulting paste is creamy, soft, fluffy, without grains of sand. It is used to give shine and softness to the hair, by those who do not want to change their natural color and therefore must give up the beneficial effects of Henna. It helps to increase the diameter of the stem and minimizes the damage created by chemical treatments.
HAIR: it is an excellent natural remedy for thin hair, in fact it helps to increase the diameter of the stem. Useful for dull and brittle hair as it polishes and nourishes. Minimizes the damage created by chemical treatments, as it performs a very important restructuring and regenerating function. It has volumizing and softening properties. Constant use rebalances excess sebum.
DYEING NOTES: it is a natural lightener used to mildly lighten natural hair or to unload other dyeing herbs.
Please note: do not use on light blond hair obtained with chemical dyes or on hair with streaks or highlights.
HISTORY AND CURIOSITIES: Cassia is also known as «Neutral Henna» or «Blond Henna», as it is similar to Henna in the color of the powder and in the benefits for the hair, but in reality the name «Henna» is incorrect. In Ayurveda Cassia is used as an antifungal and antibacterial, considered effective against fungi and bacteria, plays a significant role in the fight against dandruff, eczema and psoriasis.
HOW TO USE: Mix the powder with boiling water until you get the consistency of a yogurt, add any other herbs and leave to rest for 20 minutes. Apply to dry or slightly damp skin. Massage with light circular movements. Also apply on the lengths. Leave on for 20 to 50 minutes. Rinse thoroughly and make a light and diluted shampoo, such as our shampoo with Wild Helichrysum of Sardinia. Apply a small amount of conditioner if your hair is particularly dry, or add a few drops of a vegetable oil to the paste. To accentuate the blonde tones and to lighten the hair or to make other dyeing herbs discharge more quickly, it is recommended to prepare it with only lemon juice. Leave on for at least 2 hours. By prolonging the shutter speed, the reflective power will be greater. With Cassia good results are obtained for enlivening the blond tones of some hair and giving a golden tone to white hair. It can be added to Henna to minimize too bright red tones and to obtain more coppery and lighter shades.
